Davis Community Soccer programs are officially playing! Across four programs, more than 1,600 players will be hitting the fields every week this fall, and it takes a huge community of people behind the scenes to make all that soccer happen.
Everything we do at DCS is rooted locally in a few core values: growth through positive mentorship, respect for all, inclusion in the game, integrity in the commitments we make to each other, and community that comes before convenience and matters more than winning. Bringing those values to life every week takes an enormous team effort. We're thankful for our program leads, along with the many coaches, referees, managers, coordinators, and others who support them throughout the season:
Fall League: Emily K.
Adult League: Christopher D.
United Program: Pip H.
*NEW* Unified League: Sean M.
Referee Program: Andrew Y., JP S., and Artem L.
Coach Program: Adie W., Eric M., and Kate W.
Management and Fields: Julie Y. and Jen C.
And there are lots of ways to jump in and help make DCS even stronger:
Help us build our photo gallery: Capture DCS players in action! Whether you’re using your phone or fancier camera, we’d love to see your candid moments, uniform shorts, game-day action, team photos, and everything in between. View or contribute.
Become a DCS referee: Join the supported community of adults and youth who help make Fall League game days possible. Referees are an essential part of DCS and you’ll earn rewards along the way! Learn more about becoming a referee
Become a Unified League coach: You don't need experience coaching adaptive sports but it would be good to have previous coaching experience. We'll provide training, resources, and support. What matters most is patience, positivity, and a belief that every player deserves a place on the field. Email us with your interest.
Follow along: Stay connected with what's happening across DCS by following us on social media and helping submit stories or photos about the people, programs, and moments that make our soccer community special. Sharing these stories is how we build a connected community where all people find belonging through soccer and every story helps show what that looks like in Davis.
Enjoy some soccer: Head to a field this September to watch a game, cheer on a team, or just soak in the energy of the fields; it's the best way to see our values and community in action.
